Surpise - Long Realty West Valley Surprise
A nurturer at heart, I enjoy creating things from scratch and watching them grow, whether it's a business—I've owned several—or a mutually beneficial professional relationship. So why does that make me the right person to be your REALTOR®? I have an even-keeled personality, strong business skills, market familiarity, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to help people. I love working in real estate because 100% of my effort goes into my success; I reap what I sow, and what I sow are seeds of compassion and concern that I turn every transaction from a simple business venture into an opportunity for true human connection.
Initially a chef by trade, I owned a successful restaurant on the East Coast for thirteen years before running a successful café in Colorado for five years after that. I've also been a representative for several lighting manufacturers, helping me become intimately acquainted with many aspects of home design. These past careers helped to refine my organizational and communication skills, diversifying my knowledge to better serve my clients in real estate. My friends would describe me as a free spirit, strong-willed but with an adventurous attitude and a happy disposition. My interest in continuing education serves me well as a REALTOR®, as I possess the Graduate, Realtor® Institute (GRI®), Resort and Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), and Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) designations. I am a member of the National Association of Realtors® and West Maricopa Association of Realtors.
I take relaxing very seriously! I find respite even in moments of high activity, whether it's golfing, cycling, creating glass art, playing with my dog, Karly (I'm an animal lover), or spending time with my husband and friends. I am also a highly trained yoga teacher, and place great value on the power of meditation—I actually still own a successful yoga studio in Colorado! (Ask me about the annual retreats I lead abroad!) I find that my yoga practice helps me refine my ability to react appropriately in the high-stress situations that have the potential to arise in real estate transactions.
I enjoy the beauty and warmth of Arizona living. I love to share where I live in Sun City Grand with my clients as well as the many other great neighborhoods with amenities abound. It would be my pleasure to guide you comfortably through the process of buying or selling your next home, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride!
